Lumen Field: A Practical Venue Guide for Seattle Events
Updated Oct 28, 2026
A practical Lumen Field guide for Seattle events: Link stations, gates and elevators, bag rules, parking lots, rideshare points and accessibility services.
Overview
Lumen Field sits at 800 Occidental Ave. S., Seattle, WA 98134. The official pages reviewed for this guide cover how to reach the stadium, where to park, which entrances and elevators serve which levels, what you may bring in, and what accessibility services are available.
The stadium's own pages do not state here whether the bowl is indoor or outdoor, how many seats it holds, or what the playing surface is. For those details, check the official Lumen Field pages directly.
A note for drivers: the parking garage runs canine security screening on event days, covered below.

Getting to Lumen Field
Link Light Rail (Line 1 and Line 2) serves the stadium, and fans can reach it via three nearby stations: Pioneer Square, International District/Chinatown, and Stadium. Riders can tap to pay with a credit or debit card or an ORCA card, or buy a ticket with the Transit GO app or at a ticket machine.
By bus, Metro runs over 15 daily routes that stop within 3 blocks of Lumen Field, and Sound Transit Express buses connect downtown Seattle to hubs across King, Pierce, and Snohomish Counties.
The Sounder Train runs from Lakewood and Everett with stops in between, and King Street Station is just a football field away from the stadium.
The Seattle Streetcar First Hill Line connects First Hill to Pioneer Square and operates every day of the week. Stops include S Jackson St & Occidental (0.3 miles from the stadium) and 5th & Jackson (0.4 miles).
By water, Colman Dock (Pier 52) is less than a mile from the stadium and offers service to and from Bainbridge and Bremerton. Pier 50 King County Water Taxis connect Seattle to West Seattle and Vashon, and Kitsap Transit Fast Ferries run to Bremerton, Kingston, and Southworth.
Cyclists will find non-motorized bike racks at the NW corner of Lumen Field, and more bike racks south of the Lumen Field Parking Garage under the bridge by T-Mobile Park. If you use bike or scooter share, park the rental out of roads and main walking and driving routes.
Lumen Field does not subsidize public transit at this time and does not offer its own shuttle services.
Entrances, gates and levels
The stadium's parking and accessibility pages name gates and elevators rather than a full entrance map. Gates 1 through 9 are reachable from the Blue Elevator on the south side of the Lumen Field Parking Garage, which also serves Street Level, the Lumen Field Event Center, and the WAMU Theater.
The Green Elevator, on the north side of the garage, serves the Club Level (Level 5), the Suite Level (Level 6), and the accessible entrance. The Accessible Entrance itself is on Level 2. The garage also has elevators at its north and south ends.
For getting between levels, four ADA-compliant ramps sit in the corners of the stadium: Cascade Ramp, Rainier Ramp E, Rainier Ramp W, and Olympic Ramp. All four access the upper levels.
The pages reviewed do not include a full seating chart or describe each section's sightlines. First Aid locations give a useful orientation: Sections 103, 119 and 141 on the Main Level, Sections 300 and 326 on the Summit Level, and on the Club and Suite Levels the West Rainier neighborhood, across from Club Suite 26 and Suite 36 respectively.
Gate 5 sits next to Guest Services in Olympic Hall, across from Section 130.
Food and drink
Coffee and espresso carts offer Starbucks coffee, tea, espresso beverages, and hot chocolate. Local Dogs and Brats hot dog and snack stands are powered by Amazon Just Walk Out Technology. This season, a series of new menu items is curated by wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba.
Not all concession locations are open for all events. All concession stands and restaurants in the stadium are ADA-compliant, and all permanent concession stands accept credit card payment only.
Outside food entering the stadium must follow the clear bag policy and dimensions. The stadium guide A-Z includes an Outside Food & Beverage section, where the fuller rules live.
Accessibility
Last checked October 28, 2026. The Accessible Entrance is on Level 2 and provides entry for guests requiring accessibility accommodations. The Green Elevator, on the north side of the Lumen Field Parking Garage, serves the Club Level (Level 5), the Suite Level (Level 6), and the accessible entrance.
There is a designated ADA drop-off area on 1st Ave S and S Charles St, just outside the Lumen Field Pro Shop. You cannot park in the drop-off zone. Additional ADA parking is available at the Union Station Garage on a first come, first served basis.
Wheelchairs are available on-site by asking any Lumen Field Event Staff member. Wheelchair escort services are only available from gate to seat, and seat to desired exit, with a wheelchair dispatched and an Event Staff member escorting guests.
Assisted Listening Devices are available for guests who are deaf or hard of hearing during Seahawks games, Sounders FC matches, and Reign FC matches. They are picked up and returned at Guest Services in Olympic Hall, next to Gate 5, across from Section 130, on a first-come, first-served basis and cannot be reserved in advance. Wired headphones are required, and guests are encouraged to bring personal wired headphones.
In-game captioning runs along the reader boards between the 200 and 300 levels. Ben's Sensory Room, at the SW Guest Services Location in the Olympic Hall, is open for all full stadium events; children using the room must be accompanied by an adult, and food and beverages are not allowed in the space.
Government-funded Personal Care Attendants whose attendance is required for ticketed guests with severe accessibility restrictions may receive complimentary admission for Seattle Seahawks events. All requests must be made at the time of the guest's ticket purchase and through the Seahawks Box Office at (888) 635-4295.
Service Dogs trained to perform tasks for guests with accessibility restrictions, and those in training in accordance with applicable laws, are allowed; all other animals, including emotional support animals, are prohibited. Restrooms throughout the stadium and event center are ADA-compliant, and family restrooms with baby-changing tables and chairs for nursing are also available.
Medically necessary items, including diaper bags, are permitted after proper inspection at the Cascade VIP Gate, Olympic VIP Gate, Rainier VIP Gate, Club Entrance (Garage Level 5), and Suite Entrance (Garage Level 6).
Automatic External Defibrillators are located throughout the facility. First Aid stations are at Sections 103, 119 and 141 on the Main Level, Sections 300 and 326 on the Summit Level, and in the West Rainier neighborhood on the Club and Suite Levels.

One-gallon clear plastic freezer bags, such as a ziploc bag or similar, are permitted.

Walker's Lockers is the official bag storage for Seahawks events and Large Stadium Events only (dirt shows, stadium concerts), located near the North and South entrances.
Official NFL team logo clear plastic tote bags are available through club merchandise outlets or at nflshop.com.
The stadium guide A-Z points to the full rules on alcohol and ID policies, prohibited items, outside food and beverage, smoking and tobacco, and a sitting and standing policy. Re-entry rules are not confirmed in the sources checked for this guide; check the A-Z guide or your event page before you travel.
Show times
The Lumen Field pages reviewed do not list door times or start times for individual events. Those details belong on the official event page for the specific game, match or concert, so check that page before you set out.
The pages do state standard lot hours on event days: the garage opens at 6am and closes 2 hours post event, and the North Lot follows the same event-day hours. Another page states both lots close three hours after the conclusion of the event; confirm the current hours on the official parking page before you drive.
