Greek Theatre - Los Angeles: The Venue Guide
Updated Oct 28, 2026
A practical guide to the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles: address, DASH and Metro routes, rideshare in Lot C, bag rules, accessible seating and show times.
The lay of the land
The Greek Theatre sits at 2700 North Vermont Avenue, Los Angeles, California 90027, tucked into the hills above Hollywood. That is the address you want in your maps app before you leave, not after the freeway signs start getting creative.
Two things deserve a spot in your pre-show notes. Every show is rain or shine, so the sky does not get a vote. And the venue is fully cash-free, accepting only debit and credit cards, so leave the paper money at home and bring a card you trust with your souvenir budget.
Premium options exist here too: the venue lists box suites, elite seating and premium seating among what it offers.
SeatCommons is where you can see what is coming up at this venue and plan your night out at the Greek.
Getting there without the parking headache
The LADOT DASH Observatory/Los Feliz bus goes directly to the venue, which makes it the simplest transit answer on this page. The fare is $0.50, the same price for all DASH rides, and DASH buses carry a capacity of 60 riders per bus.
The DASH connects to the Metro B Line at Vermont / Sunset. It also connects to the 180, 217, 204 and 754 bus lines, with other stops upon request only, including connections to the Metro 180 / 204 / 217 lines. Two Metro Bike Share stations sit along the route, at Vermont & Franklin and Hillhurst & Prospect.
Heading home on transit? Buses out of the park depart 10 minutes after the show ends and travel to the Vermont/Sunset Metro Rail B Line. If your trip continues on the Metro B Line, note that the last train from Vermont/Sunset departs at 11:55pm.
If you prefer to drive, the official directions are simple enough to memorize. From the 210 Freeway westbound, take the 134 west, transition to the 5 south, exit Los Feliz Blvd, turn right onto Los Feliz Blvd and right onto Vermont Ave. From the 101 southbound, exit Gower St, turn right onto Gower St, left onto Franklin Ave, left onto Western Ave / Los Feliz Blvd and left onto Vermont Ave. From the 5 northbound, exit Los Feliz Blvd, turn left onto Los Feliz Blvd and right onto Vermont Ave. From the 405 north, take the 110 north, transition to the 5 north, exit Los Feliz Blvd, turn left onto Los Feliz Blvd and right onto Vermont Ave.
Finding your seat
The official pages checked for this guide list accessible seating locations in Section A and the North Terrace but do not publish a general gate-by-gate map or a numbered walkthrough of every section. Rather than guess at gate names, ask an usher on arrival or check the venue's own site before show night.
What the pages do spell out is how accessible spaces are distributed. In Section A, accessible locations include Row A seats 21-35 and 22-36, plus Row T seats 2-32 and 1-31, each with space for a wheelchair and companions. In the North Terrace, Row H covers seats 21-37, 33-51 and 57-67, again with space for wheelchair and companions.
One seating rule applies to everyone: do not sit or stand in the aisles, which are kept clear at all times for safety and as a courtesy to other ticket holders.
Food and drink inside
The venue's own dining options are worth planning around. North Concessions runs a menu that includes a Double Smash Burger and Truffle Fries, Chicken Tenders, Loaded Chili Cheese Fries and a Beyond Meat Burger, with a Plaza Bar across the way and seating in the Oak Garden. The South Concession sits right across the South Merchandise Stands, with restrooms and seating areas nearby.
Franklin's Cafe and Market operates from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM all seven days of the week.
On the bring-your-own question, the rules are specific. Outside food and beverages are not permitted, and no alcohol or unlawful substances may be brought into the venue. Guests may bring empty plastic or Nalgene reusable bottles, and will be required to discard the contents of any reusable bottle brought on property; no metal bottles are allowed. One factory sealed plastic bottle of water per person is allowed.
Alcohol can be purchased by guests 21 and older with legal identification, and sales may terminate at any time at management's discretion. The venue is fully cash-free, so card only. Vapes and e-cigs are permitted in designated areas only.
Accessibility at the Greek Theatre
A minimum of 41 wheelchair and semi-ambulatory tickets are available throughout the Greek Theatre. Accessible seating is offered to those with mobility disabilities who require it, at most price levels. No permanent fixed chair is provided in designated wheelchair accessible spaces; the venue provides full wheelchair accessible seating in those locations.
Guests purchasing a ticket for an accessible seat may buy up to three additional seats for companions in the same row, contiguous with the accessible seat.
Accessible drop-off is located in front of the Box Office. Accessible parking is first come, first parked, and a space in a specific lot cannot be purchased in advance; guests may be asked for proof of California ADA registration before being allowed to park. All accessible parking lots include spaces for rear-loading and side-loading vans and have accessible paths of travel to seating areas. Accessible parking is also available in the off-site shuttle lot at Crystal Springs Drive and Los Feliz Blvd.
Mobility scooters are welcome. Guests seated in designated ADA wheelchair spaces may stay in their scooters for the duration of the show; if you prefer to transfer to a standard seat, the team will store your scooter at Guest Services. The venue does not have scooters on site for use or rental, but wheelchair escorts are available upon request. Mobility devices, including wheelchairs, walkers and scooters, are not permitted in the standing-room-only pit area during events with a General Admission standing pit.
Assisted listening headsets are available free of charge with a deposit at the Guest Services Booth; ask an usher for assistance or reserve in advance by calling 323-391-6001. A sign language interpreter can be requested through the Greek Theatre Box Office after purchasing tickets, with three weeks advance notice requested.

Bags and what stays home
Bags cannot exceed 12 by 6 by 12 inches, or they will have to be checked in at the Guest Services Booth. No large bags or purses are allowed in the venue.
The prohibited list is long and specific: aerosol cans; animals or pets, except service animals; audio and video recording equipment; balloons, beach balls or related items; cans, bottles or glass containers (with the empty plastic bottle exception above); chains and studded bracelets; coolers or ice chests; unlawful drugs; laser pens and pointers; noise making devices such as whistles and air horns; moshing and crowd surfing; outside food or beverage; poles and sticks used to display flags or banners; skateboards, rollerblades and bikes; unapproved pamphlets, fliers and handbills; and weapons of any kind, including pepper spray, tear gas, handcuffs and stun guns.
Guests, including law enforcement personnel not present in an official capacity, are prohibited from bringing weapons into the Greek Theatre. For safety reasons, guests are refused entry if they are in possession of prohibited items. Unlawful items are confiscated and turned over to the police, and a guest found inside with a prohibited item may be ejected from the facility.
Cameras are subject to artist approval. Small point and shoot cameras with non-detachable lenses are allowed, provided the camera fits in a front pants pocket. Flash photography and professional cameras, including SLR cameras or cameras with detachable lenses, are prohibited, as is professional photography equipment such as detachable lenses or lenses longer than 2 inches, tripods, monopods and selfie sticks. Meta smart glasses and other wearable recording devices are subject to approval by venue management, and some artists and tours may prohibit them.
Signs cannot exceed 8.5 by 11 inches, no large posters or cardboard posters are allowed inside, and no hanging props. Small, non-metal seat cushions are allowed. Strollers are permitted in the venue but not in any seating area; they are checked and held at Guest Services.
There is a No Re-Entry policy for all events, so plan to stay put once you are in.
Every attendee, regardless of age, must have a valid ticket to enter. Age restrictions may differ from show to show and are listed on each show's event page. Guests 13 and older may attend unchaperoned, while children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
First responder personnel are on site for all public events and can be found adjacent to the box office windows. Lost items are held for up to 30 days from the date they are turned in.
Show times
The venue pages checked for this guide do not publish a general door time or start time for the Greek Theatre. Those details sit on the official event page for each individual show, so confirm the time there before you set your departure.
One timing detail the venue does state: buses out of the park depart 10 minutes after the show ends, which is worth knowing if you are relying on transit for the ride home.
